Office Manager

Kathy Blois has been involved with the Rawdon Hills Community Health Centre Board of Directors since the summer of 2000. On a voluntary basis, Kathy helped with the set up and opening of the Health Centre and since that time she has been employed as the Centre’s primary receptionist. From a volunteer perspective as well as from working with the patients of the centre on a daily basis, she sees the importance and need for access to collaborative medical services to the people of this area.
Receptionists

Vanda White-Neil completed a business course at the Community College in Windsor. She was an employee of Home Support Nova Scotia for many years and became part of the team at the Rawdon Hills Community Health Centre in June of 2003. She looks forward to being a part of the future of our Centre.
Carolyn Conron
Our Board of Directors
Wayne Pick is a retired teacher (physical education). He has been an active developer of recreation programs and facilities in both municipalities of West Hants and East Hants. He has volunteered with the Board of Directors of the Family and Children Services of Hants County, with other Community Services and local United Church organizations. He enjoys working with dedicated, task-orientated and positive thinking community members.

Shirley Nicoll graduated from Hants North Rural High School and received her Education degrees from Nova Scotia Teacher’s College and Acadia University. Her teaching career began in Elmsdale, NS, followed by teaching and principalship at Rawdon District Elementary School in Rawdon, NS. She is a member of the East Hants Community Health Board, the Hants North Area Cooperative and has been on the Board of Directors of the Rawdon Hills Community Health Centre since its inception.

Corrine Wiliams is a retired health services manager and has been living in the Rawdon Hills area for eight years. Her hobbies are gardening, reading and tole painting. Corrine is pleased to be working with such a dedicated group of individuals, both on the Board and in the Community.

Sue McRuer has been active in many community organizations over the past thirty years. She is retired from the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board. Her hobbies include running, cycling, gardening, and kayaking. She has been a board member since its formation.

Gus MacDonald
Luke Wiseman grew up in Rawdon Gold Mines and attended Hants North Rural High. He proceeded to attend NSAC and is currently enrolled in the College of Pharmacy at Dalhousie University. With the rural community still as his base, Luke realizes the importance of a comprehensive health centre in this area. He has been on the Board of Directors since 2009 and enjoys supporting the continued growth of the Rawdon Hills Community Health Centre.
